Monitor and notify of email floods?
Anyone know of a script/app that monitors incoming mail and can notify when a flood is detected? Would be similar to BFD for APF. I have one customer in particular who receives 300+ spam per day that is not getting picked up by spamassassin for some bloody reason. I've got dcc/pyzor/razor, as curren...

Spamdyke and PSA-Spamdyke
I've installed Spamdyke and PSA-Spamdyke, but wanted to try the newest version of the Spamdyke control panel so I downloaded it and installed it, but am getting: Spamdyke not installed, or path to spamdyke.conf in config.inc.php is not set!! This is my config.inc.php: <?php error_reporting(1); defin...

Using gmail tagged spam to train spamassassin?
I've figured out a way I can get the emails that gmail has tagged as spam into a mailbox on my server that I can then use to train spamassassin with. However I was examining the headers and was a bit reluctant to use them because of the headers that gmail adds (example below). Can anyone provide any...

Thoughts on Traffic Control 3?
Just wondering what everyones thoughts on Traffic Control 3 are. If you don't know about it you can check it out here: http://www.mailchannels.com/download/ I am going to install it on a test server, but that server doesn't get any spam, so I won't really be able to see anything other than if it ins...

Hey Scott, Thanks for the reply - sorry mine is so late. I ended up simply rebooting, yes, which put everything back as it should. I was trying to fix the problem without rebooting (simply to see if it is was possible/easy)... but found that it was too risky. Just trying to learn by screwing things ...

Looking for some help - rename scsi device
Hey everyone, I know this probably isn't the best place for this question - but not sure where else to go and I've been googling for hours and have found lots of information, but nothing that has helped me. I was experimenting with an eSATA device today and wanted to remove the device from the syste...

Frontpage on CentOS 5/Plesk 8.2.1
I am attempting to follow some instructions on the SWSoft forums regarding creating a RPM for FP on CentOS 5/Plesk 8.1+ but am running into some problems. I am just wondering if there is anyone here who may be interested in having a look at the thread and checking out the issue I have run into. I ha...

Just one more question here before I go making changes to my setup. Lets say: ns1.catch22media.com - server 1 ns2.catch22media.com - server 2 domain catch22media.com is located on server 1. My question is this: If server 1 goes offline - are the domains on server 2 unreachable because server 1 is of...

Thanks Scott - After posting I did discover that. However I am still unclear on one thing. Server 1 currently hosts catch22media.com (with ns1. and ns2.catch22media.com in the DNS config) So when I setup server 2, do I add ns2.catch22media.com on that server and if so, where? Do I add catch22media.c...

2 Plesk Servers - Redundant DNS?
Hey everyone, I have purchased a second Plesk server in another location and would like to configure my DNS across the two machines. IE: ns1.mydomain.com --> server1 ns2.mydomain.com --> server2 But I don't quite understand how to set this up - can anyone offer my some advice? Do I add my primary do...

Thanks for the replies. I am aware that if box 1 is down those domains are down anyway, but as far as I understand this is a good step in creating a little more reliable DNS service, correct? Are their other ways to setup multiple servers under the same brand? (other than ns3, ns4, ns5, etc) Your in...

Proper NS setup accross 2 plesk servers
Hey everyone, My business is growing steadily and I am ready to add another server, but at the same time I think it would be smart to have one in another geographical location setup as the second name server (instead of ns1. and ns2. being on the same box). However I don't understand how to set this...
