Re: psa-security Missing Dependency in YUM UPDATE

Thanks faris. That is excellent advice and I will do just that.

The question remains out there though, does anyone know how to get psa-security back? Can psa-sb-publish be reinstalled somehow to bring psa-security back in?

Re: psa-security Missing Dependency in YUM UPDATE

Hate to do that. Its pretty long, in fact too long too post, but here's everything but the first few lines: --> Processing Dependency: poppler-utils for package: cups --> Processing Dependency: libdns_sd.so.1 for package: cups ---> Package cups-libs.i386 1:1.3.7-18.el5_5.7 set to be updated ---> Pac...

Missing Dependencies trying to YUM UPDATE

In addition to the PSA dependency problems I listed in CONTROL PANEL forum I also have these related to the DELL OPEN MANAGE SYSTEM, I believe. Anyone know what's up with these errors or should I just ignore them and/or have my hosting provider look into these since one would assume that they are th...

psa-security Missing Dependency in YUM UPDATE

A while back I needed to upgrade PHP to 5.2 at the time when it wasn't working with Plesk and the solution then was to remove sitebuilder, (just PSA-SB-PUBLISH I believe), which I did. Since then I have not been able to do a YUM UPDATE because of many dependency errors in the PSA updates. I have bee...

I removed that option and another: #ArchiveMaxCompressionRatio 300 #ArchiveBlockMax no and it started up and the email is flowing again. Still would like to know what happened/went wrong and how to fix and if this has happened to anyone else? Now the question is, all the email that was not delivered...

ClamAV update to 0.93 took email down

Yesterday my server upgraded ClamAV to 0.93 and ever since then I've been getting the infamous "clamdscan: corrupt or unknown clamd scanner error or memory/resource/perms" error message. The system had ART 0.92 package running before the update. Following your advice to a previous user I c...

This was just base installation of my Plesk 8.2.1 RHEL5 server. I installed no RPMs before the auto upgrade to 8.3.0 and PHP 5.2.5. Here's what yum says: php-xml.i386 5.2.5-4.el5.art installed php5-ioncube-loader.i386 3.1-07051711 installed php5-ioncube-php52.i386 4.0-rhas5.07042717 installed So you...

Shouldn't that have upgraded along with everything else from your repositories?

If not, does that mean I have to install a new RPM or can it be done through yum?

Thanks Scott. You're a real help here. An Amazing one actually. I don't know how you ever get any work done! ;) I know what you mean about PCI scanners. They often give FAIL errors with messages like "this MAY mean..."! Yeah, well, it MAY NOT, too! If you can't tell for sure how can you FA...

Plesk 8.3.0 and PHP 5.2.5 (and auto update)

Yesterday I used the atomic installer which added the ART repositories to my server (which was running Plesk 8.2.1 and PHP 5.2.1). Also I answered "yes" to the question "install Plesk repository". I didn't realize that Plesk had a cron job to run yum update every morning so today...

NEXT DAY Because I installed the ATR repositories before doing these changes yesterday, today when the Plesk daily yum update ran this morning, I got a million updates and now, suddenly, SA is running in the process and tagging all the spam correctly. Weird. So something updated and fixed it and, sa...
