Re: Clamscan consuming all resources
Well, it wasn't clamscan, it was only clamd. I have removed every virus scanning with clamscan and still see this hangs a few times a day. The only possibility to fix it is to restart clamd. Then the server responds immediately. See screenshot.

Clamscan consuming all resources
I am having trouble with clamscan and clamd consuming all resources, see attachment. It keeps happening all the time. The result is that the web server takes forever to respond, and the sites go down. Edit: unable to upload picture. Could not upload attachment to ./files/1600_a8ba154b96cf654953b010b...

Re: Slow server
Yes!
I had set it to use a local dns, but a setting in CentOS 7 made it rewrite the resolve file on every restart or ASL reconfiguration. When I fixed that the server is working as it should.

Re: Slow server
Sure, I use the DNS-based rules from ASL. Never heard of hostbasedlookup. Is it useful?

Slow server
I have a server Centos 7, with ASL which is running really slow. I cannot really understand why. When I say really slow, I don't mean always or with all applications, but for some. the most important one is Wordpress. It seems like the time to first byte takes forever. Disks seems ok, memory ok, CPU...

Re: Letsencrypt and asl
One of the problem is that I really don't understand which application should be granted execstack.
/usr/local/psa/var/modules/letsencrypt/venv.SCBBK/bin/letsencrypt is not an ELF.

Letsencrypt and asl
Trying out letsencrypt. The letencrypt binaries seems to trigger "Denied a RWX mmap event." the same thing running it from a command line installation. serverXX kernel: grsec: From xxx.yyy.zzz.xxx: denied RWX mmap of <anonymous mapping> by /usr/local/psa/var/modules/letsencrypt/venv.SCBBK/...

New asl triggers nginx psmon warning
After each new version of ASL a triggers a psmon e-mail every other minute complaining nginx isn't running. The only way to make it stop is to remove the nginx part in psmon.conf. But psmon.conf is replaced every time ASL is updated. I am not running nginx on the server in questions so it really sho...

Re: php uploads not working at all
Had similar problems, though we managed to upload smaller files, but not larger ones. Not really sure which change finally fixed it, but I think it was a combination of timeout and memory limit for php.
