Re: Eaccelerator crash on PHP 5.3.x (CentOS 5/6)
Maybe not the answer you would like to hear but I would not use eaccelerator anymore. For three years no development. And also during the time it was supported the errors where quite frequent. I would try APC instead. also zend is causing a lot imcompatibilities and crashes with different other appl...

Re: New Plesk 11 Server - Must have packages?
you can go with the mysql or the file based version of spamdyke.
different steps to do. mysql is the one that is widely used.

no mails from atomic forum anymore
Hi guys, today I realized that I don't receive any forum mails anymore. Settings are correct. First I thought it might be my server spam blocking or somehting else. But after posting something today and checking mail logs I do not even get something from the forum. I don't know for how long this is ...

Re: New servers coming in - which cp?
I will probably have some server virtualized. I'll probably have to many servers in the beginning, so I'll have one to for lab/testing purposes. Yes I agree. If you will have this use case than virtualization is a good way to go/stay. My main issue with Plesk is the lack of support. I really like s...

Re: New servers coming in - which cp?
just a sidenote from me because this topics are also very unique solvable since everybody is setting up different concepts for the same case based on the unique knowledge, workload, tech env, project goal etc. I would start with question regarding pro/cons of virtualization itself. what will be the ...

Re: Spamdyke 4.1 CentOS 6
I haven't moved yet but I will in the next weeks. What I can say is that the Plesk Interface psa-spamdyke is working with the latest spamdyke version 4.3.1 and mysql logging. The developer is active in another forum and posted it. the Atomic psa-spamdyke package is a little bit outdated. You will ha...

Re: Mail limit
I was wondering in the past what is summed up in the strange calculation of Plesk. I think it's somehow cascading the stuff and some not and I decided to set the values as I think. Alarms almost never occure but thats really based on the clients we have. Anyway...why I'm posting is that I havent rea...

Re: php-debuginfo
I think you have to change that part as well since the package xorg-x11-devel was changed to many single packages which will also lead to other dependencies. see this post: http://www.centos.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=7890&forum=37 Maybe Scott can clarify if thats the best way to go.

Re: Changing hosting plan
that depends on what you want to achieve and what you are in control of.
And Yes. Changing the hosting plan via Plesk to forwarding would make it possible to set the target domain.
You could also do it by changing the DNS records.

one question came in my mind...
wouldnt ASL stop the kernel module creation/building?
I think I disabled it for that reason.
