Re: Plesk 9.5.4 + Centos + qmails-canner 2.08-5 - SPF proble
Hello, In my honest opinion there is only one way to get 99.999% rid of spam. Try Spamexperts. After you set it up you are done. Plus you get to uninstall anykind of filter from the server and not bother with it. Plus it has a web gui ! :P Its not the cheapest product though ... A cheaper solution f...

Re: Plesk 9.5.4 + Centos + qmails-canner 2.08-5 - SPF proble
Hello there, To be honest, i removed qmail. It kinda sucks. I use postfix now and other ways to filter. Ofcourse if you are using qmail then you have a problem. Its not the guys fault I believe but the crappy implementation from parallels. They tend to destroy every service they come in touch with !...

Hello, I am getting some very worrying erros that I don't know what they are. I googled around and found that some say it has do something with the OS recv... I don't know what the problem is though. Re: problem with sessions
Hello Scott, If the /var/lib/php/sessions folder is set to 777 and you upgrade php then this folder will turn into mod 770. I am sure ! [root@c6-64-qa ~]# ll /var/lib/php/ total 4 drwxrwx--- 2 root apache 4096 Jul 3 12:56 session [root@c6-64-qa ~]# rpm -q php php-5.3.3-14.el6_3.x86_64 [root@c6-64-qa...

Re: problem with sessions
Hello, php sessions folder has nothing to do with plesk. It only has to do with PHP. So chmod 777 this folder and do an apache restart and it should fix the login problems you are facing. Every time the php is updated from thme repository this folder needs permissions to be changed to 777. Alternati...

Re: Plesk backup killing the server
Yeah. I've been RSYNC-ing /var/lib/psa/dumps to our local fileserver here - when that started taking longer than it should was when I noticed older backups were not deleting as they should. Thanks a ton for your help though. I'll post back if I find any answers. My only guess at this point is that ...

Re: Plesk backup killing the server
Thanks! That worked well. I'm still trying to find out how I can get Plesk to enforce the backup limits that I have listed in the Backup Settings. Some domains I would like to keep longer than others, so if the "Limit backups" setting worked, that would be much better. So far I can't find...

Re: Plesk backup killing the server
I have the solution for you ! You see plesk backups are not stored in any way in the plesk datrabase. Plesk "reads" backups from the xml files it generates. There is only one clean way to delete them. find /var/lib/psa/dumps -type f -mtime +7 -delete -print This command will delete all fil...

Re: warn-phpd permission denied
That doesnt look like an attack, that looks like a misconfiguration. This: mmap cache can't open /var/www/vhosts/somedomain.org/httpdocs/var/compiled/mail/%%B2^B27^B27F06E6%%order_notification_subj.tpl.php - Permission denied (pid 19211) Looks like the domain is setup to generate php opcode and to ...

Hello guys. I got this from OSSEC and I have no idea whats going on. Mod evasive didn't block it and I don't even get what its trying to accomplish to be honest... This site is probably an old version of cs cart... Received From: plesk->/var/log/httpd/error_log Rule: 1002 fired (level 2) -> "Un...

Re: Weird Logs issue on Plesk
Most excellent. well spotted. The MU system seems to be going bonkers at the moment, at least on my systems: one says MU#36 is available. two say MU#35 is available. And one says MU#36 is available but then suggests I upgrade to Plesk 11.0.9 even though that upgrade to new version tick box is most ...

Re: Weird Logs issue on Plesk
Ok. Found the problem. Seems totally unrelated to me as well but it solved the problem right away ! One of the domains had an error log which was 1.3GB. After deleting the log file and restarting apache, problem gone ! Before that I tried many things such as restarting services and plesk with no luc...

Weird Logs issue on Plesk
Guys I have an issue. This might have to do with the last MU. Firewall is turned off so there is no way this is a WAF proxy issue... Suddenly on plesk some domains "logs page" when accessed from the panel return a white blank screen ! Other domains work normally on showing their log files ...
