Mass Renaming Of Folders

So, say I have a folder containing some 500 subfolders... all of these subfolders have a common string to their name... specifically, the names all start with a # sign. Hypothetically, say I want to remove the # from the front of each and every one of these folder names. Anyone know of a script that...

So, for blacklisting, I can append domains to the /var/qmail/control/badmailfrom file to bypass having to load the IPs into Plesk 1 at a time. Is there a file I can edit through SSH to append the "Good IPs" to in the same sense? I don't see it as really a hot idea, spending the next 2 hour...

See, that's why I want to impliment some whitelisting. MSN Groups is not trying again, and bouncing as undeliverable and deleted. Same with Yahoo groups. From the research I have done, gmail won't try again soon enough and will bounce, as will some AOL servers. I also can not wait to receive mail fr...

Okay, I created the /var/qmail/whitelist and chowned it to qmaild:root. But how do I import a list of IPs into it? The greylist stores the IP data as the first 3 octlets created as a 0byte file. I'm not supposed to actually go through this list and create a new file for each whitelist IP, am I? I ca...

I finally managed to get mine installed with the whole "yum remove yum install" cycle... but I can not seem to find my white and blacklist. the /var/qmail/greylist is only populated with the 0byte trioctlet files, that so far as I can tell are only used to track "temporary blocks"...

FuzzyOCR

Any chance of seeing something like this incorperated into the spamassassin release, or maybe a package for it showing up in atomic-testing?

Since I'm just using the spamd that is installed by "yum install spamassassin", I'm not exactly sure why it's saying that it's not properly detected on my box, but no one else is experiencing the same problem. This is just going to be one of those kind of weekends, I can tell right now. # ...

Tried it... a few times, in fact. It simply won't recognise spamd running (or even it's existance, given the scanners output line).

It's like qmail-scanner isn't even seeing spamassassin running. # /etc/init.d/spamassassin start Starting spamd: # /etc/init.d/spamassassin status spamd (pid 3130 3127 32306) is running... # ps -e |grep spam 32306 ? 00:02:58 spamd 3127 ? 00:00:31 spamd 3130 ? 00:00:56 spamd # vi /var/qmail/bin/qmail...

Spamassassin not reading...?

Mail is coming through the server without being scanned by spamassassin... ever since I tried to reinstall psa-spamassassin crap... should have just left that trash off the machine. I've done a yum remove spamassassin qmail-scanner, then a readd. Didn't fix the problem. Mail headers: Received: from ...

The latest from the yum stable. spamassassin-3.1.3-1.rhel3.art And as for the CPAN, your guess is as good as mine. I don't know what sort of crap swsoft puts on the server with the updates anymore... I try to keep it to ART archives at this point, as psa-spamassassin is literally tearing the server ...
