ossec packages missing from rhel/centos 4 repo

Hi,

It looks like the ossec packages are missing from the Red Hat Enterprise Linux / CentOS 4 repository:
https://www.atomicorp.com/channels/atom ... i386/RPMS/

Are you going to add them back?

Thanks.

ossec-*-2.6-12 and /var/ossec/etc/shared/agent.conf

ASL generates the actual conf files, so you can ignore whatever is in the rpm anyway. Those files are just there in case someone isnt using ASL, but ASL doesnt use them, it will generate its own (if needed, agent.conf isnt used in standardalone configurations) We're using the OSSEC packages from th...

Re: PHP 5.3 for RHEL/CentOS 4

I added a compat library for that condition the other day. See if it installs now If I just execute "yum upgrade php" on a RHEL 4 server with Plesk 9.5.4, it appears it also wants to upgrade the mysql packages, plus it fails with some missing dependencies, see below for the full log. What...

Re: PHP 5.3 for RHEL/CentOS 4

Thanks, I can see the PHP 5.3 packages for RHEL/CentOS4 now, but when I try run "yum update php" it also wants to install the MySQL 5.1 packages.

For now I'd like to only upgrade to PHP 5.3 and keep the stock RHEL/CentOS 4 MySQL 4.1 packages, how do I do that?

Thanks.

PHP 5.3 for RHEL/CentOS 4

Hi,

I'm looking at the repo for Red Hat Enterprise Linux/CentOS 4 here:
http://www6.atomicorp.com/channels/atom ... i386/RPMS/

And I can only see PHP 5.2 packages there.

Are the atomic PHP 5.3 packages only for RHEL/CentOS 5 and later?

Thanks.

Re: [atomic] PHP 5.2.14-2

I saw that, but we cannot upgrade to PHP 5.3 anytime soon, our applications are not tested with it. So we'll have to stay with PHP 5.2 for the foreseeable future, that's why I'm trying to understanding if the Atomic PHP 5.2 package will keep the PHP 5.3 php.ini or if it will be updated with the corr...

Re: [atomic] PHP 5.2.14-2

I follow it, but I don't check Twitter that much. I went checking on it now, but I couldn't find anything about my question. In order to know which php.ini file to use as reference to apply my customizations, I'm trying to understand if the PHP 5.3 php.ini included in the Atomic PHP 5.2 package is a...

Re: [atomic] PHP 5.2.14-2

Hi,

It looks like this new PHP 5.2 release still includes the /etc/php.ini file from the PHP 5.3 distribution?

Is that on purpose or are you going to correct it in a future release?

Thanks.

Anyone?

SFTP connection with PHP 5.2

Hi,

It looks like the libcurl version shipped with RHEL4 doesn't support SFTP.

Is there any alternative to do an SFTP connection with PHP 5.2 from the atomic repo on RHEL4?

Thanks.

New PHP 5.2.12 packages now requiring MySQL 5 libs?

Hi, We have a few systems Red Hat Enterprise 4.8 and using the atomic repo just for PHP 5.2. They are currently running the PHP 5.2.11 packages from the atomic repo (the exact version if 5.2.11-2.el4.art). Today we tried to update them to the PHP 5.2.12 packages, recently released to the atomic repo...

Atomic installer should install newer yum version on RHEL4

Hi, I've installed the atomic channel on a RHEL4 system using the installer and I've noticed that it installed an older version of yum (yum-2.4.3-3.el4.centos) from CentOS 4. The installer should be updated to install the latest yum version (yum-2.4.3-4.el4.centos) from CentOS 4 and also the additio...

Re: Plesk 8.x to 9.x? Yes or not.

Hi,

I'm also running Plesk 8.6 on RHEL4 and I'm considering to upgrade it to Plesk 9.2.1.

Do you think it's worth the upgrade?

Thanks.
