mysql.sock missing in action.

I just upgraded mysql last night and now it won't start. says can't connect to port, so after some research I've found that the mysql.sock file and its symlink are missing, have tried to recreate the file yet every time I do it disappears. Not sure what to do or where to look. have the line: socket=...

Re: spamd: Cannot open bayes database and high CPU usage

No, it won't screw up the firmware, just be sure you use the correct firmware for your hardware and the latest version. Like any upgrade / bios or otherwise, take your time and do it during off peak / scheduled maintenance. Be sure to leave yourself a window in case something horrible goes wrong. Al...

Re: spamd: Cannot open bayes database and high CPU usage

Sounds like you own this server. I'd make sure the raid controller firmware and drivers are up to date. I recently had a windows server with 2 drives in raid one and it had a failed drive, replaced the drive and in less than a month the same drive failed again. Updated the firmware on the card, and ...

Re: spamd: Cannot open bayes database and high CPU usage

Don't be afraid of shell, it's like windows CMD program. You can edit with vi, old school, but there are other more friendly editors. Making a cron job is easy, just create a new file in the /etc/crond.XXX directory and the system typically runs it automatically. XXX=schedule. Here is the contents o...

Re: spamd: Cannot open bayes database and high CPU usage

If you want to backup your MySQL databases locally or even just work with them directly from your desktop to the server check out Navicat: http://www.navicat.com/en/products/navicat_mysql/mysql_overview.html Besides being able to backup on the local server it can also backup to a remote server. It a...

Where do I find the templates to add / change the information sent out by the system via email. Example, the Over the limit of a domain generates a message with the subject line:re: <mydomaine> Notification: Domain has exceeded its limits and was suspended. and the body just has: Thank you for conta...

Re: SPAM Score too High

In the local.cf you can remove the subject line insertion. I think there may also be one to check in qmail-scanner.ini. Other than that can't say where you'd have to go to turn it off. As for scoring your email 8+, you are putting a subject line in yes? I'm running at 4 with a delta of 1, quar at +2...

I click on it and clicked install. 3 Patches were installed: nstalling patches... Downloading the file PSA_9.3.0/microupdates/MU1/dist-r...
