qmail problems.. after yum due to my own ineptitude

Unread post by Galactic Zero »

Started a yum update and server hung about half way through the update.. now when I do a yum check-update or yum update it tells me that there are no updates even though it broke halfway thru it.

broke at 215/403 updates..

Help..

Ok, real problem lies with qmail, qmail-scanner, spamassassin..

Think I have qmail and qmail-scanner sussed out, just need to sort out spamassassin..

Here is what I show installed:

-rwsr-sr-x 1 qmailq qmail 4578 Aug 27 10:38 qmail-queue
-rwsr-sr-x 1 qmailq qmail 4578 Jun 3 16:28 qmail-queue.orig

[root@gz /]# rpm -qa |grep spamassassin
psa-spamassassin-(none)-7.1.7-rhel3.build71050228.12
spamassassin-(none)-2.63-0.2
spamassassin-1-3.0.3-1.rhel3.art
[root@gz /]

I need to remove all but the psa-spamassassin? or??

Running psa 7.1.x with your qmail-scanner and the clamd installs.

Thanks.

yeah youve got the wrapper duplicated there. Two ways to fix it, copy the qmail-queue.orig from another running PSA box of the same distro/psa version, or remove qmail-scanner, then psa-qmail (--nodeps), reinstall psa-qmail, make sure clamd and spamassassin are running, then reinstall qmail-scanner.

So my spamassassin install is ok according to what I've listed?
