We recently just upgraded... but are having lots of issues with regards to our crons not working. Webstats, user backups and log rotations are just not happening anymore...

Also tried to manually generate stats for a domain... wouldn't work either.

Sent a support request to parallels but just wondering if anyone could help?

THanks.

Centos 5.7

New Plesk 10 installs use a chrooted shell for cronjobs: http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=208345 Before users could run commands using a full shell via their crontab, even when assigned a chrooted shell or no shell at all as their login shell. You can revert to the old behavior if you like.

Just to mention it:
10.4.X is still in Pre-production state. At least thats what the website is claiming. It might change soon but you never know. So there might be some issues. You better post it at Parallels forum as well to make sure that Parallels notices it.

Thanks for all your comments!

The link was useful, although we upgraded from 10.2 to 10.4.4, apparently the chrooted shell was from 10.1, so it shouldn't have been an issue. The Parallels guys did the upgrade in the end due to some problems. Waiting to hear back from them. I'll keep you posted.

Parallels located the issue as being a statistics process and applied a patch to fix the issue.
