bayes_toks file too large

Unread post by douglaseggleton »

We are getting quite a few overuse notifications of subscriptions in plesk - looking at /qmail/mailnames, a lot of users have large 10mb+ bayes_toks file which takes them over their usage.

Can this be deleted/reset in anyway?

It automatically expires old tokens. Deleting it outright would disable the bayes function completely. It doesnt work at all until you have at least 200 ham and 200 spam messages in its db. It doesnt actually get good until that number is 2000/2000

Thanks for the speed reply Scott.

Is there any way to turn it off for individual users - as some who have small usage amounts <50mb have a bayes_toks file that's about 15mb. Meaning a lot of their usage is already taken up.

Yes, you can set individual spamassassin preference files in the users .spamassasin dir (user_prefs I think?)
