How far is 5.2.6 from stable?

I think its good to go now, we just need to finish updating all the support packages.

If I search with YUM (after activating the "testing" repo chanel) I cannot find php 5.2.6 what am I doing wrong?

It is still in the testing channel if I'm not mistaken. Scott will put it in the normal dist channels once he's down with the support packages.
