want to upgrade to Art's php 5.2

Hi,

Right now I am running plesk 8.6 centos 5 with php 5.1.6-20 and mysql 5.0.45-7.el5. I also have ecommerce stores on my server using the ms2rc2 version of oscommerce store. The next version of this store requires PHP v5.2.0+ (with MySQLi extension) and MySQL v4.1.13+ or v5.0.7+.

If I upgrade to Art's php-5.2.9-2.el5.art.i386.rpm only will all the additional packages needed be added? Would I need to get Art's latest mysql also or can I still use mysql 5.0.45-7.el5?

Would this upgrade adversely affect the stores already on the server?

I have never installed sitebuilder or the application vault from plesk and wonder if I upgraded plesk in the future to 9 would there be any problems?

Thank you!

Hi,

Is anyone running centos 5.2 with atomic's php 5.2.9 and also have setup an osCommerce store running ms2rc2 on this system?

If so, have there been any problems?

Thanks!
