Where is qmail-scanner-reconfigure

Hello,

I have uninstalled psa-spamassassin and installed qmail-scanner with clam antivirus on virtuozzo plesk 9.2.1. It was installed sucessfully but there is no file qmail-scanner-reconfigure.

qmail is also not working on the server now.

# echo 'test' | /var/qmail/bin/qmail-inject test@test.com
qmail-inject: fatal: qq temporary problem (#4.3.0)

please help.

Sounds like something went wrong, try re-installing the qmail-scanner rpm

What does 'rpm -V qmail-scanner' return?

# rpm -q qmail-scanner
qmail-scanner-2.05-3.el5.art

I uninstalled and reinstalled qmail-scanner but the problem is still the same.

output of #rpm -V qmail-scanner is blank. No Output.

No output from rpm -V means everything is fine with that installed package. Are you sure you don't have /usr/bin/qmail-scanner-reconfigure on your machine?

My installation also had missing /var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl

I manually created a symlink

ln -s /usr/share/qmail-scanner/qmail-scanner-reconfigure.psa /usr/bin/qmail-scanner-reconfigure

Copied the /var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl from another server and put in /var/qmail/bin and /usr/share/qmail-scanner and changed permission on it.

Ran qmail-scanner-reconfigure and it worked.
