Hello!
Quite a while back we used the ART RPMs to get our Plesk 7.5.2 install up to MySQL 4. Now we're trying to get Plesk upgraded to 7.5.4 but we're getting errors when trying to do it via the built in Plesk Updater. Is there a better way to do this?
We're running:
RHEL 2.1
Plesk 7.5.2 (hoping to go to 7.5.4 which we hear will make migrating to 8x on a new box easier)
These are what we used to upgrade our MySQL:
mysql-client-4.0.22-art.RS.rhes
mysql-devel-4.0.22-art.RS.rhes
mysql-shared-compat-4.0.22-art.RS.rhes
mysql-server-4.0.22-art.RS.rhes
When we try to upgrade using the updater this is shown at the very bottom of the big install debug:
----- begin of output -----
Installing plesk-libgcc-3_4-3.4.3-2.i586.rpm
Installing plesk-libstdc++-3_4-3.4.3-2.i586.rpm
Installing db1-1.85-7.i386.rpm
Installing mysql-3.23.58-1.72.i386.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
MySQL conflicts with mysql-3.23.58-1.72
mysql-client is needed by mysql-devel-4.0.22-art.RS.rhes
----- end of output -----
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

If you're using the Migration Manager on the new box I believe there is no need to update to 7.5.4 on the old box first.
