Roundcube webmail

Unread post by breun »

EPEL has Roundcube 0.1.1 packaged, but can't update beyond 0.1.1 since later versions require PHP 5.2+ and EL5 is on PHP 5.1.6.

Could you add a more recent version of Roundcube to the Atomic channel? Fedora 13 currently has Roundcube 0.3.1, and version 0.4.1 was released recently: http://roundcube.net/news

Hi breun,

I'm just curious to know...do you use roundcube as a replacement of Horde and Atmail on Plesk systems?

Thanks

We install alternative webmail products like Squirrelmail and Roundcube if clients request us to do so. Not as a selectable alternative integrated option in Plesk itself, but usually just on a separate vhost or global alias.

I actually don't like or use webmail clients myself. :)

Thanks for the info. I know what you mean. Webmail is barely used by customers but expands the security risks.
