/usr/bin/modsec-clamscan.pl

Unread post by everclear »

Hi,

I've just installed the free rules for testing. The modsec-clamscan.pl script used in 05_asl_scanner.conf isn't bundled with the rules and there is no link to a download location.

I've search and install a copy of modsec-clamscan.pl, but have been getting empty file errors. So, I was wondering where the most current version resides?

Thanks.

Is that a package you can use if you have the rules only subscription?

Its available in the full ASL subscription, since its a binary-only package. I'm not sure how we'd handle that for other environments (windows, solaris, osx, etc) that typically use the rules-only feed. The older perl script is out there in the mod_security src.rpms if you want to give that a shot.

There is symlink trickery involved there for backwards compatibility, you're OK
