clamd cpu load
I realized this morning that clamd had started taking way too many resources. It steadily climbs until I restart the service. I have tried just removing clamd, clamav, and clamav-db and re-installing them, but the problem still comes back. When I restart the service it will run ok for a few minutes and then it will spike. Once it does, it never goes back down. I have asl and everything is updated. I don't see anything in the clamd log to indicate any kind of problem. Any suggestions on how to figure out what is going on?

Re: clamd cpu load
OK, this is what I get.
For some reason these aren't getting removed. They just stay there until I restart clamd.
Code: Select all

Re: clamd cpu load
I think I got it resolved. I had some bad signatures or something. I removed clamav and then removed everything in /var/clamav. Reinstalled and ran freshclam to update it. Everything seems ok now.
