[atomic] PHP 5.3.6-2 released
I'll skip the changelog, since we've been talking about this for months. Its out, enjoy!
To Upgrade:
yum upgrade php
To Upgrade:
yum upgrade php
Re: [atomic] PHP 5.3.6-2 released
The upgrade went well and all websites seems to be working. Horde is experiencing some problems though. when trying to login I get HTTP error 500. when trying to reload, I get in, but all subfolders, below the Inbox, are missing. Anyone got any suggestions where to look for errors?

Re: [atomic] PHP 5.3.6-2 released
Looks like the Horde release distributed by Plesk isn't compatible with PHP 5.3. Looks like PHP's interpretation of deprecated might be "this no longer works, I'll throw a runtime error". (I'm used to Java's interpretation of deprecated, which is "I don't recommend using this anymore, I'll throw a compiler warning".)biggles wrote:Found some myself. Really don't know what to do...
A more recent version of Horde might be compatible, or you'd need to file a bug report with Horde for PHP 5.3 compatibility if they don't have that on their radar yet.

Damn... Is it possible to get atmail working in 8.6?

Re: [atomic] PHP 5.3.6-2 released
It's not provided by Plesk in 8.6. AFAIK, so you'll have to download a copy of AtMail yourself and install that. Or downgrade PHP if you want Plesk's Horde back.
What version of Horde is distributed with Plesk 8.6? We don't run any Plesk 8.6 servers ourselves anymore. Does anyone know if Plesk 9.5's version of Horde does work with PHP 5.3.6?

Hmmm... Tried running . Now I don't get any errors in the apache error_log, but Horde still isn't working correctly. It only shows Inbox, no other folders...
Code: Select all
/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/websrvmng -a
Re: [atomic] PHP 5.3.6-2 released
I thought the Horde update in Plesk 9.5 added PHP 5.3 support.breun wrote:What version of Horde is distributed with Plesk 8.6? We don't run any Plesk 8.6 servers ourselves anymore. Does anyone know if Plesk 9.5's version of Horde does work with PHP 5.3.6?
Re: [atomic] PHP 5.3.6-2 released
It seems to be IMP 4.1.6 that is distributed with 8.6.breun wrote:

Re: [atomic] PHP 5.3.6-2 released
anyone know what version supports 5.3?
Re: [atomic] PHP 5.3.6-2 released
This also seems to have broken Zend Optimizer
Re: [atomic] PHP 5.3.6-2 released
no it has not. zend optimizer is not compatible with php 5.3 and will never be. this has been posted a couple of times here.

Re: [atomic] PHP 5.3.6-2 released
Do you have a way to stay with 5.2?
Re: [atomic] PHP 5.3.6-2 released
Easiest way to stay with 5.2 is to not upgrade (it's unlikely any new versions of 5.2 will be released). You can add the following to your atomic.repo to not see 5.3 listed in yum
Code: Select all
exclude=php*
