Heh, I love it. When I was working on the IPv6 rollout project for the Federal government, I kept saying there were legitimate uses for NAT only to be irrationally glared at by the IPv6 "purists" as some kind of heathen.
Glad to hear others agree that it should be up to the user to do whatever they want with their network.

Yep...I agree. Why shouldn't I be able to use NAT in my network when I want to. It was always blamed as a workaround from the hardcore IPv6 protectionists. But it's a feature that was developed for a technical purpose.
