Unread post by sammael »

My server is a RedHat 9 root server at 1and1... I wish to upgrade my plesk from version 7.1.7 to 7.5.x using YUM and your package... is it possible?

Yum is already installed and configured. However when I try a

Code: Select all

Server: Atomic Rocket Turtle - 3 - Atomic PSA-Compatible RPMS
Server: Atomic Rocket Turtle - 3 - Base OS RPMS mirror
Server: Atomic Rocket Turtle - 3 - SW-Soft PSA 7.1 RPMS

How can I fix this and what are the required steps to upgrade to 7.5x ?

Just add the psa 7.5 channel, it should upgrade normally from there.

Is it possible to upgrade to FC2 or Fedora Core 3 using the same methods ?
Once my server is up to date with psa 7.5x and RH9?

Thanks

Yes, you can upgrade a FC2 to FC3 box. Make some good backups before you do it though, there are all kinds of little things that can go wrong. Better yet, get vmware going and play around with upgrades a few times so you know what you're getting into.
