7.5.0 -> 7.5.2 upgrade failed

Unread post by dougthonus »

I tried using the built in updator to go to 7.5.2 as I'm somewhat of a *nix newbie. (I used it about 10 years ago, but things are quite different now).

Anyway, the auto-update fails, and I'm curious if anyone could give me a hand in figuring out how to get an update to work.

I believe the following from the log file is what's causing the problem, but I'm not sure what dependencies the program needs and why it didn't autoinstall them. I can post the whole log if it's useful, but the thing is gigantic.

Installing /PSA_7.5.2/rpm_FedoraCore_2/opt/docs/psa-manual-custom-skin-guide-7.5.2-fc2.build75050128.11.i586.rpm

Package psa-spamassassin needs spamassassin >= 2.60, this is not available.
I tried using yum, and the error messages were better. I'm not entirely sure I was using the correct channel, I tried using your psa7.5 channel, any ideas?

yeah psa-spamassassin is not compatible with SA 3.0. You have to remove it
