Back up & restore - > BIG PROBLEM

Hello

I am really confused with this problem and i don't know what to do

i had a plesk 6 on my server i have upgraded it to 7.1.4 and it seemed that every thing OK , worked for me , but i was bothered that although the interface and functions vere from the new plesk at the top header it was still righting plesk 6.0.2 , i didn't give much attention to that.

now i have installed plesk 7.1.6 on my new server , thinking that i will easily migrate from the 7.1.4 - > 7.1.6 , but unfortunately migration didn't work , so I headed for the back up. Backup was made, but restore didn’t work on the new server, i said could not restore the back up from version 6.0.2 .. to basically this is the place i am stuck . plesk thinks that it is 6.0.2 although it's 7.1.4 , how to fix this version bag

When you're doing a restore (and especially a downgrade restore) youve got to wipe out every last trace of the other PSA install

Reinstalling the box is a good way to do it
