Hi,
We're in process of setting up new box from scratch. We've installed FC3. Is FC3 ok to use with Plesk and ART? After the FC3 install should we install everything direct from ART for Plesk and add-ons?
I was told that qpsmtpd from Bj

Im running PSA 7.5.2 on an FC3 box myself, and I remember I had to do some tweaking to get it to work. The first part was to set up the /etc/redhat-release file to indicate that it was FC2, as well as use FC2's mailman rpm. For some reason I think Im forgetting something else, give those two changes a try and see what happens.
On the clamav/spamassassin topic, I have the qmail-scanner rpm in my archive, which is similiar to qpsmtpd. It gives you the same effect more or less. I suspect you could safely use both alongside each other, but it would probably be redundant.

Re: Fedora Core 3 new install
Hi Scott,
Thanks for the quick reply and all your cool stuff. We installed Plesk from your repository. Hadn't seen your response yet, so didn't know to check /etc/redhat-release, but we're able to get into Plesk with no trouble (haven't set everything up and tested mail yet though). When I check the release info, I do see Fedora Core release 3 (Heidelberg). To ensure everything works properly, I need to change it to 2 and remove (Heidelberg)?
Things look good in Plesk except the following are greyed out PostgreSQL, Mailman Settings, ColdFusion Settings, Application Vault, SpamAssassin, and Migration Manager.
I also would like to verify installing ClamAV, SA, and Q-S b/c I've read a bit of conflicting info in forums.
First, I need to make sure I have the following in a yum repo file, right?:
[psa-7.5]
name=Atomic Rocket Turtle - $releasever - SW-Soft PSA 7.5 RPMS
baseurl=http://3es.atomicrocketturtle.com/atomi ... eleasever/
baseurl=http://archive.atomicrocketturtle.com/a ... eleasever/
baseurl=http://www.atomicrocketturtle.com/atomi ... eleasever/
AND
[atomic]
name=Atomic Rocket Turtle - $releasever - Atomic PSA-Compatible RPMS
baseurl=http://3es.atomicrocketturtle.com/atomi ... eleasever/
baseurl=http://www.atomicrocketturtle.com/atomi ... eleasever/
then I first do yum install clamav spamassassin
and then do yum install qmail-scanner
Thanks again for your help and patience!
