centos 4 & yum

centos 4 and yum gives a forbidden message... my yum.conf:

For the atomic channel, I do not see a Centos4/RHEL4 channel, so remove this until you get a response from Scott.

This channel should work just as you have it listed.

For the psa-7.5, base, and updates channels, you will need to replace "$releasever/" with "CentOS4/" and then they should work for you.

In the "name=" for each channel, also change the $releasever there to CentOS4.

Yeah centos3/4 will pass in 3 or 4 for releasever. That would inadvertently make you pull updates from the FC3 or FC4 channels. I'll be updating the entire archive layout this weekend to resolve issues like this going into the future.

PS- and no, I dont have a 4ES/CentOS stable channel yet, there are however some packages in the atomic-testing archive.
