Scott,
some months ago I had installed your RPMs for:
MySQL 4.0.22
SpamAssassin
ClamAV
Qmail Scanner
Now, I would like to know you have found any problem in upgrading to 7.5.x with any of these RPMs installed.
Any reports?
Thanks a lot for your guidance,
powergen

No, although the triggers in qmail-scanner could use some work on upgrade detection. There are some cases where a PSA upgrade will wipe out qmail-scanner and you'd have to reinstall it.

powergen,
Did this work for you? I've got 7.1.5 and want to upgrade to 7.5.1. I believe I have 4.0.18 currently installed.

All went smooth to me.

sweet! I'll be upgrading then. I'd assume its probably a good idea to get up to the lastest art MySql, I think those are now upgrade safe.

Just one thing: I had updated MySQL authorization tables from 3.23.x version to 4.0.x version via a script in Mysql RPM.
If you search this very forum you should find a topic on this: I also contributed to the solution of that case.

Sorry: I checked.
This forum was deleted back some time ago and all topics I think were lost.
That one included.

you're talking about the mysql_fix_privileges_table script right?
