Centos Alt RU Repo

Has anyone ever used the cenots.alt.ru repo? and if so are they reliable. Reason is i need to stay with the 5.2.17 branch a little longer and they just released php 5.2.17-7 Which seems to cover 24 fixes backported from 5.3.6 and 28 from 5.3.7 .
