Atomic CentOS 5 i386 mirror list borked?

Unread post by sindarina »

This is the default URL used;
http://updates.atomicorp.com/channels/m ... tos-5-i386

Which results in the following;

==
http://mir01.syntis.net/atomic/channels ... repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404: Not Found
Trying other mirror.
http://www6.atomicorp.com/channels/chan ... repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404: Not Found
Trying other mirror.
http://www7.atomicorp.com/channels/chan ... repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404: Not Found
Trying other mirror.
http://www5.atomicorp.com/channels/chan ... repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404: Not Found
Trying other mirror.
http://www2.atomicorp.com/channels/chan ... repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404: Not Found
Trying other mirror.
http://www3.atomicorp.com/channels/chan ... repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404: Not Found
Trying other mirror.
http://www4.atomicorp.com/channels/chan ... repomd.xml: [Errno 12] Timeout: <urlopen error timed out>
Trying other mirror.

When I remove the extra '/channels', I get a recognizable dir listing instead of a 404 error. A fix would be appreciated, thanks!

If you are getting 404 errors on the atomic repo, this means your atomic rpm is very out of date. Please run the atomicorp installer again:

Was the first thing we tried, that just reinstalls the version of the repo configuration file we already had. It seems that the mirrorlist output has been fixed in the meantime; problem solved :)

Yes, we were seeing this as well, with a fully up to date/latest atomic rpm.
It doesn't seem to be happening at the moment so I'm guessing whatever it was is resolved.
