It might help to run the stats more often. That would cause small log files to be read. 350 domains depending on the amount of traffic can be a lot of logs to read.

Is the load there at the same time every day? If so that might help you narrow it down to a single process/application causing the load. Then you could manually run or recreate what that process is doing at 4 am and see if you can figure out why it is doing that and stop it all together.

PHP 5.2.1 runs fine with plesk 8.1. I am just not sure about if it works with site builder or not.

So far it is running on the development box just fine. There are not alot of major differences between 5.2.0 and 5.2.1 so there should not be an issue.

It SHOULD work but I make no garuntees. And yes you can install ioncube into any php install and have it work...assuming there are no version issues. But as far as I aware that rpm should work.

It is stable. But 5.2 breaks site builder. So if you have sitebuilder until plesk recompiles sitebuilder to work with the updated PDO version then you will not be able to use both. I will list full details up on release.

PHP 5.2.0

Hi all. I have discussed getting some php 5.2.0 rpms into testing. I have got to do some more tweaking of the .spec file for some things it conflicts with like sitebuilder and php 4 etc... BUT you should see some php 5.2.0 rpms in the testing releases sometime in the next week.
