Re: Installing Yum on CE 5.4 x64 Fails Multiple Dependencies
Thank you for the reply, Faris. Yes, we've switched all of the HN's to 64-bit. They've always been but Virtuozzo had issues with x86_64 in the beginning. Of 25 servers I've migrated a whopping three! WOW! In three weeks. A miserable task. Plesk also does nicely in 64 bit and it's like the dual Opter...

Re: Installing Yum on CE 5.4 x64 Fails Multiple Dependencies
I am feeling defeated. I guess I should just subscribe to ASL? [root@test apache2]# apxs -cia mod_security.c /usr/lib64/apr-1/build/libtool --silent --mode=compile gcc -prefer-pic -O2 -g -pipe -Wall -Wp,-D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 -fexceptions -fstack-protector --param=ssp-buffer-size=4 -m64 -mtune=generic ...

Re: Installing Yum on CE 5.4 x64 Fails Multiple Dependencies
Thank you for the reply. But yum is not installed to begin with and is not an option when creating the container. That's the problem. Your installer works fine on the 32-bit ez-template for CentOS but there are missing dependencies on the 64-bit. My questions had nothing to do with your installer, b...

Installing Yum on CE 5.4 x64 Fails Multiple Dependencies
I am using Virtuozzo 3 and have been upgrading all servers to x86_64 and have noticed that many common libraries and what not are not installed on Centos 5.4 using the Parallels ez-template. This is especially troublesome because I cannot even install yum using wget -q -O - http://www.atomicorp.com/...

Re: Plesk 8.6 Linux Backup Error
I don't know where or how to stop this process. There isn't an icon makred Backup Manager. It's called Backuip Settings. Nowhere do I see a place to stop any backup from running on Plesk 8.6 for Linux on Virtuozzo 3.

Plesk 8.6 Linux Backup Error
A customer was trying to do a backup to an external FTP location and the hour glass just sits on the screen. I don't know where to look or how to stop it. Other domains appear to backup fine. This is installed on Virtuozzo 3 using ez-templates.

Well, with Ensim as an excellent example -- Ensim failed to, or refused to, integrate mySQL 4.x into its Webppliance. With Ensim mySQL is *tightly* inetgrated. Plesk, on the other hand, installs mySQL x.xx as part of the OS but Plesk still has to integrate to some extent. SW-Soft tells me that 8.1.0...

Updating mySQL FC 2 Plesk 8.1
I am a relatively new Admin. learning more and more each day. But my past experiences with Ensim trouble me. I recently paid SW-Soft to upgrade our Plesk 8.0.1 boxes to 8.1.0 and they failed to do the mySQL upgrade that I figured was part of it. They now tell me I figured wrong  At any rate, w...
