Yum upgrade dependency issue on new CentOS 7 server

Re: Centos 7 and Apache 2.4 -- is it time?
That's a really good question. Have the exact same upgrade pencilled in for 2016 and was pondering the same... The only addition to this was SNI (for secured connections).

Re: Disable SSLv3 with Plesk?
Upgraded to ASL 4.0.7-18. APACHE_SSLPROTOCOL set to "TLS only". APACHE_SSLCIPHERSUITE set to "strong". Restarted Apache. http://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest, curl & openssl tests still report SSL3 as ENABLED & INSECURE /etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl.conf appears to have the correct set...

Re: php-eaccelerator
Thanks for the heads up! Just waiting on some code updates to bring websites inline with PHP 5.5.
php-panda requires FCGI, so that is out of the question at the moment as I believe FCGI doesn't support opcache.
Just haven't had an opportunity to weigh up all the pro's/con's yet...

Re: Atomic Secured Linux™ 4.0.2 (Pineapple)
I think you just missed a step, did you run: asl -s -f After running "aum -u"? You'll need to do that to set the new settings, but its fail safe if you forgot. The error occurred during aum -uf, a problem with tortix_waf.conf was detected, so didn't get as far as running asf -s -f. Just t...

php-eaccelerator
The latest version of php 5.4 is 5.4.29-35, but php-eaccelerator is at 1:5.4.28_0 - which causes a Dependency Resolution error.
Would be possible to update php-eaccelerator please?
Thank you!

Re: yum update -> Error: Protected multilib versions
I think the problem is that php-eaccelerator is not built for PHP 5.3.17. At least not yet. It's also kind of no longer supported, though usually still released into Atomic when people ask for it and it still builds OK. Does this mean I have to ask for it to be built here? If so I'd like php-eaccel...

MySQL High CPU?
Noticed MySQL server CPU was running at almost 100%, checked process list, etc. nothing unusual. Turned to Google and found the issue + solution: http://blog.mozilla.org/it/2012/06/30/mysql-and-the-leap-second-high-cpu-and-the-fix/ Basically, UTC has to compensate for the slowing rotation of the ear...

Yup tried that, same result. Then noticed 2.9-8 in repo, ran yum upgrade gradm and still see: Non-fatal <unknown> scriptlet failure in rpm package gradm-2.9-8.el6.art.x86_64 execstack: cannot open "/usr/lib*/python*/site-packages/_ctypes.so": No such file or directory warning: %triggerin(g...
