Yes that seemed to be the case when I last did it.

Re: Plesk 12 and ClamAV

Dam, this is an old thread. Well needless to say I solve it. Qmail (which is now optional in Plesk 12) works perfectly. I've since installed spamassassin and clamav, and it is all working perfectly. The issue was a combination of permissions, and configuring ClamAV and Spamassassin. Needless to say ...

Re: Plesk 12 and ClamAV - Help!

Yes faris, it's available only on Plesk 12 I believe. I've kinda worked it out with some help from the Plesk forums (Here: http://forum.sp.parallels.com/threads/clamav-and-plesk-12-help.328851/#post-768579 ) Just incase anyone else has the same issue as me, this is what I did starting with Plesk's Q...

Plesk 12 and ClamAV - Help!

Hi all, I've got a Plesk 12 box installed and running on Digital Ocean using CentOS 6.5 64bit. I've installed Qmail Scanner and Spamassassin via Plesk's "Updates and Upgrades" section, and I installed ClamAV using the yum install clamd command in terminal. Unlike the last time I did this, ...

Re: Plesk 12 and ClamAV

Qmail scanner is now an option in Plesk 12 instead of the defaults. So is there any difference between the one you can download via the Plesk panel (via Updates and Upgrades), compare to the one from ART's yum channel? In regards to ClamAV, I took a quick look, and it seemed that nothing was configu...

Re: Plesk 12 and ClamAV

Oh and currently it has the PSA Qmail scanner installed, as it is included in Plesk 12, but no Spam Assassin installed or Dr Web.

Re: Plesk 12 and ClamAV

Well this is what I want to know. My current guide that I wrote, which worked ok with Plesk 11 under CentOS 5 and 6 32bit, doesn't seem to work with Plesk 12 under CentOS 6.5 64bit. In short this is the commands used in the old guide:- # wget -q -O - http://www.atomicorp.com/installers/atomic |sh # ...

Re: plesk 12

I dropped CentOS 7 64bit, and went back to CentOS 6.5 64bit for my Plesk 12 install on Digital Ocean.

Every issue I've experience under CentOS 7 and Plesk 12, hasn't happened on CentOS 6.5.

I chalked that down to experience.

Plesk 12 and ClamAV

Hi all, I've got a CentOS 6.5 64bit Digital Ocean box running with Plesk 12 install (Web App Edition), and all is fine. I'm running the Plesk Qmail install, but haven't installed Dr Web or SpamAssassin. Is it possible to install SpamAssassin, either PSA version or other, and ClamAV to handle email v...

Question regarding new install

Hi, I'm build out a public web project, and for the production server I'm planning to install ASL. The server will most likely be a Digital Ocean instance, because it's cheaper than AWS, and I can expand the box quickly using there interface to meet demand. Question I have is this. Can ASL be instal...

Re: CHMOD in PHP not work arrgh HELP!

I got it working in the end by changing the Apache config so that it runs as my SSH/SFTP user, but is still part of the apache group.

My ssh user doesn't have sudo root permissions, so it should be safe enough option.

Thanks for your help guys :)

Re: CHMOD in PHP not work arrgh HELP!

I did forget to mention I'm not running vhosts in Apache, as there's only one domain on the server.

So would it be better to change the apache user to the SFTP username in the apache config?

Re: CHMOD in PHP not work arrgh HELP!

Thanks for the reply, I followed this guide http://www.rackspace.com/knowledge_center/article/how-to... yet it still has the same problem. I did the following commands as root:- sudo usermod -a -G apache myuser sudo usermod -d /var/www/html myuser sudo chgrp -R apache /var/www/html sudo chmod -R g+w...
