It is a modified ks of Scott's ks for CentOS 4 on 1and1 servers that I have modified to install CentOS 5 with the first 2 discs. # Kickstart file automatically generated by anaconda. install harddrive --partition=sda2 --dir= lang en_US.UTF-8 langsupport --default...

Plesk installs fc6 packages on CentOS 5

I did a fresh minimal install of CentOS 5 on a test machine today and then installed Plesk. I noticed some of the packages getting installed by Plesk were fc6 packages. Here they are # rpm -qa | grep fc6 glib2-2.12.3-2.fc6 db4-4.3.29-9.fc6 tcl-8.4.13-3.fc6 libIDL-0.8.7-1.fc6 libXt-1.0.2-3.1.fc6 nc-1...

daemontools and tnef for CentOS 5

Scott, I saw that you have added builds for qmail-scanner and maildrop for CentOS 5. Thanks, I am glad to see them added. Are you going to also add builds for daemontools and tnef for CentOS 5? I get failed dependencies when trying to install. Thanks.

I have found out that it is a routing issue. I am getting stopped on the 1and1 network, so I have sent a request for them to look into it. I guess I will just have to see how long it takes them to respond.

Can't access archives

I have two boxes at the new 1and1 facility and neither can access your archives. So I tried to ping and no go. I pinged from my server at the old facility and everything is fine and I can access everything from my office. My question is, before I call 1and1, is there any reason I would be blocked? I...

Yeah, I don't particularly want to do it, but this server will be going live this weekend. I know you are busy with the ASL stuff and didn't figure you would have that up in the CentOS 5 archive till later. Any idea of a time frame for those rpms?

Well, I tried the CentOS 4 rpm again today and it worked great. Installed from the CentOS 4 archive are qmail-scanner, daemontools, maildrop, tnef. Does anyone see any problems with using these until the CentOS 5 archive is populated with these? Thanks.
