Got an ETA on when this might be? Seems like since all the new PHP5 Frameworks emerged out there people have been asking us for PHP5 every day.

Thanks again!

It's not that hard to install manually. There is a very comprehensive installation manual on the pdflib website.

Scott, I also remember asking gpan from cheetaweb if his rpms that he makes for Ensim would work on a Plesk server. He seemed to think that they would be. Maybe you could take a look at the RPMS he provides and see if they would be compatible with Plesk 7.5.4? Here's the link to 5.0.4: http://forum....

PHP 5.0.5 rpms

I'd like to see an update of the 5.0.2 rpms (http://3es.atomicrocketturtle.com/atomi ... /3ES/RPMS/) to version 5.0.5 (also include mbstring).

Thanks!

I don't know about CVS, but I've installed subversion with no problem. In any event, you might want to look for svn installation instead of cvs.

Scott, First of all, I'm happy to say that I got this working after a grueling weekend :) To get it working I did the following: 1.) installed the rpms and compat rpm. Note: If you need to uninstall the compat rpm, you'll need to use rpm -e --nodeps in order to make it work. 2.) created a smylink fr...

At least I can say that plesk support has been rather responsive to my issue. That's a big plus. However, I'm still stuck with this issue. They did confirm that the 8.0 branch is compatible with plesk but the 8.1 branch is NOT. I reverted back to 7.3 and got that working. Then I tried to re-upgrade ...

Where's the updater log located?

Can someone tell me where the Plesk 7.5.4 updater log is located on RHEL?

I need to find out why postgresql wont install.

Thanks.

After all this, I get a response back from Plesk. Here is what they say: Unfortunately Plesk does not work with PostgreSQL 8.x. Plesk can work with PostgreSQL 7.x only. PgSQL 8.x has different paths to configuration files, different name of start script, so it has difeerent infrastructure than PgSQL...

I'll give it a shot. I hope i didn't break anything. One thought. From the control panel, i can run the Plesk updater and it gives me the option to install "PosgreSQL server support". Is this just the interface from Plesk into PGSQL? If so, do you think if I re-install this from the contro...

Ok, I found the compat RPM that I needed. http://www.gunduz.org/postgresql/rpms/compat-postgresql-libs-3-2PGDG.i686.rpm I installed the RPMS, but here's what happened: warning: compat-postgresql-libs-3-2PGDG.i686.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 748f7d0e Preparing... ############################...

Scott,

Do you know of any compatibility RPMS that might contain this older library? Or should I just install PGSQL from the source? I really want to get this upgrade taken care of without breaking PHP.

Got any suggestions?
