Re: Not Compatible with R1Soft Backup
I, too, have the same issue since the latest kernels, but have opted to keep the previous kernel version for now. I've not gotten round to trying to upgrade again, but it doesn't sound promising if you're still having the same issues I had months ago. I was in contact with R1Soft (through the compan...

Thanks, I'm using the Atomic repository's 5.4 at the moment; but will go to 5.6 in the New Year.

Re: Upgrade PHP from 5.4.45 to 5.6.x: anything to look out f
Thanks - everything hosted should be pretty open to 5.6; very few are bespoke bits of code, most running on current (or fairly current) versions of CMS' etc.
Will schedule it in for some time in the New Year and report back if there are any things to help others in the future.

Upgrade PHP from 5.4.45 to 5.6.x: anything to look out for?
I've been using php 5.4.x for some time, but with 5.5 and 5.6 out and stable, I'm looking to upgrade a Plesk 12 box with around 100 vhosts on it to the latest ART 5.6 build. From what I can see, it's nothing like the leap from 5.3 to 5.4 and 99% of things should go smoothly. WordPress (which most vh...

Re: XPath error : Invalid expression
I'm getting dozens of these each day - and not all relating to autodiscover; many in the generic httpd error log - as you say, with no helpful information. One client is still complaining that they don't have access, when ASL doesn't seem to have a block on their IP (remote support pending with them...

Re: XPath error : Invalid expression
Hi Faris, Did you get any further with this? I'm getting lots of these also - but now ASL seems to be picking some up for specific vhosts too. Once such failure was triggered with the following request - taken from the audit log: --a0787877-A-- [13/Aug/2016:18:53:12 +0100] V69ehm2pO58AAGXZaKkAAAAS [...

Re: Xpath error : Invalid Expression in /var/log/httpd/error
"XPath error : Invalid expression" comes from a web application. Since the line is in your Apache error_log, probably from a PHP application under mod_php running an XPath query on XML data. Thanks. Any way to know which one? It's strange that it is going into the default error log and no...

Xpath error : Invalid Expression in /var/log/httpd/error_log
Hi, Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. In the default error log at /var/log/httpd/error_log, I'm getting repeated errors with no date/timestamp in between general "File does not exist" errors and ASL blocks. [Wed Apr 13 17:16:16 2016] [error] [client x.x.x.x File does not ...

Re: WP xmlrpc attack
Sorry - just got this.
I had removed the watch list configuration, as requested - which has stopped all issues with the attacks.
I've never seen it get out of control again, so never been alerted to know if/when an attack is in progress unfortunately.

Re: WP xmlrpc attack
Is removing this line the solution here?
Or a stop-gap measure until something more robust is changed with ASL?
I'm guessing the configuration was there for a reason in the first place?

Re: Jungle Disk
Just a quick follow up on this from me. The steps to get it installed correctly were: Download the RPM from the Jungledisk site yum install junglediskserver* killall junglediskserver paxctl -c /usr/local/bin/junglediskserver paxctl -m /usr/local/bin/junglediskserver Open ports 80 and 443 outbound Cr...

Re: Jungle Disk
Thanks... I have ran the trace and saw a few "no such file or directory" errors. I'm wondering if, due to the segfaults happening at install, that the program hasn't been installed correctly and ASL is blocking the install - rather than the execution? Never used the strace facility, so att...

Re: Jungle Disk
@chrismcb did you restart the box too? Yes, server has been rebooted. RWXMAP_LOGGING was already enabled from a fresh install of ASL. The funny thing is that the segfault is only on install, not every time the service is started/restarted. Using the debug command: /usr/local/bin/junglediskserver -d...
