clamav rules
is there a problem with the updates to clamav rules at present - they are all downloading as zero byte files.
which causes a corrupt file and therefore makes clamav offline.

Re: php-5.4.19 and php-suhosin-0.9.33-2 breaks session handl
Theres no need for the patch with the suhosin 0.9.36 code - so you can skip these lines:
Code: Select all
mv session.c session.c.orig
wget https://raw.github.com/blino/suhosin/117b6aa6efec61afaa1431c698dad8eb553b55f5/session.c

This was against https://github.com/stefanesser/suhosin/ ... master.zip
and with these changes and a compile as a extension - joomla1.5 logins are now working under php5.4.x

Re: ruid2 / Plesk configuration questions (SOLVED!)
it uses mod_php still - it just alters the apache process that calls mod_php to be ran as "user" instead of "apache" we use this on lots of servers plesk and non plesk so i dont see why plesk should have any issues with it. one thing to take note of though is you delete a vhost f...

Re: mod_ruid2
There are crude ways to get this working by changing modsecurity to write its logs at 777 - echo "umask 0" >> /etc/sysconfig/httpd echo "SecAuditLogDirMode 0777" > /etc/httpd/conf.d/01_mod_security_changes.conf service httpd configtest && service httpd stop && ser...

Simple script that will work on most plesk ...
