Plesk 9.2.1 not working with ClamAV and Qmail-scanner
Hi, I've been using ART's solution for clamav and plesk for years now and never had any problems with it (great solution for updates php, mysql, etc). We just got a new server and installed plesk 9.2.1, used the atomic channel to upgrade PHP and MySQL and everything worked just fine. However, we hav...

so... do you suggest that i go ahead and install version 3.1 of SA? From your own experience, what will customers like the most: the panel integration of SA 2.6 or better spam detection of SA3.1? I've tried to understand a few posts that tell mention some level of integration with the psa-spamassass...

Using ARTs spamassassin with psa-spamassassin
Hi everyone, I intend to use ART's virus & spam solution (clamd & spamassasin 3.1-4) for my servers (instead of drweb and swsoft's spamassassin 2.6). On the virus side, i have no doubt that clamav is way better solution than dr.web. So i have no problems there. Just one question: 1) does the...

Thanks for the info. In my PERSONAL experience with registering new domains with .com.mx and .com .net .org is that it takes barelly 10 seconds to get it working. Of course... changing the nameservers on the registry for already created domains takes a while because of all caching (and everything el...

Yes... you're right. The NOTIFY scheme will work for domains already in the slave servers. Changes will take effect aprox 15 min after the update (BIND default). What i really meant was that domains just added won't resolve until the next reload because the slaves servers have no clue about these ne...

By the way, the only drawback I can see on this solution is that any changes on a domain's zone won't be available for a few hours until the secondary servers do the transfer and reload. This can probably be reduced by shortening the time lapse in between cron jobs (instead of 6 hrs lower it to 4hrs...

using your scripts for several servers
Before taking any further steps i decided to read OREILLY book on DNS and BIND (very good read). I suggest anyone implementing some sort of DNS solution to read it (including using ART's solution) It will definately help you understand WHY Scott's solution is very simple and elegant. Back to the top...

Centralized DNS
Hello everyone, Im need to create a centralized DNS service for authoritative servers. The purpose of this is to be able to point all domains (no matter on which server they are being hosted) to: ns1.mymaindomain.com ns2.mymaindomain.com Problem is, im not really sure in how to accomplish this. I've...

Thanks for the reply, Now, does anyone have a HOW-TO guide on any of the following: a) installing clamav / spamass. on virtuozzo environment without the use of ART's yum repositories. b) does anyone know the steps to create an app template for virtuozzo with this av/spam solution? c) if neither a or...

clamav and spamassassin on virtuozzo environments
I'm wondering if the spamassassin and clamav solution from ART might work on Virtuozzo envirnoments. I just got a new server with Virtuozzo technology (instead of my traditional "normal" servers). It uses RHES3 as a Host OS and i'm using RHAS 3 OS templates for the Virtual Environments (VE...
