Re: details preview of Plesk 10.4.X
(Scott said (above) that Interworx was one of the "ideal" ones; PSA/INTERWORX/WEBMIN) I compared prices to upgrade my existing Plesk 8.6.0 server... buying was always better than leasing... Linux_Control_Panel_Pricing_Comparison_2012_Plesk_Interworx_DirectAdmin.png Over 5 years, Interworx ...

Re: details preview of Plesk 10.4.X
I'm considering just quitting Plesk... Looks like I'm going to need a new server to do the migration, and I know I want my new server to have ASL installed ($199/year). So, I wonder, of the other Control Panels that Scott mentioned above, which would be his "favorite"? * PSA * Cpanel * Dir...

Re: details preview of Plesk 10.4.X
Ok, just saw that my Plesk 8.6.0 will go END OF LIFE on Sep. 1, 2012. I will need to upgrade from 8.6.0 to 9.5.4 in the next 7 months (production server, CentOS 5.7, co-located box, 150 domains). Then, since 9.5.4 goes end of life in June 2013, I'll have to upgrade to 10.x.x again 9 months after tha...

Re: Problem installing php-mcrypt
I had a similar problem, but just removed all entries from /etc/yum.repos.d *except* atomic, got it installed, then added all entries back to /etc/yum.repos.d

Re: details preview of Plesk 10.4.X
I'm still on Plesk 8.6.0... I wonder when they'll stop supporting it.
I sure hate the thought up upgrading it... it just sits there and works so well... all I have to do is "yum update" once a week...
I can't imagine that 8.6 -> 10.3 would go smoothly... my luck doesn't run that way...

Re: Conflict updating MYSQL today
Ok, I think I've found a solution... first I disabled the IUS repo from /etc/yum.repos.d: # mv ius.repo ius.repo.NOT Then, ran yum update: # yum update And instead of trying to install the mysql51-libs i386 5.1.59-1.ius.el5 to solve the dependency, yum used mysqlclient16.i386 0:5.1.57-1.el5.art to s...

Re: mysql 5.5.15 changes w/ more automated upgrading
Scott, since I'm getting a "conflict between attempted installs of mysql-libs-5.5.16-2.el5.art.i386 and mysql51-libs-5.1.59-1.ius.el5.i386", is it possible/safe to remove mysql51-libs?
# yum remove mysql51-libs --no-deps
And then add mysql55-libs ??? (I'm running CentOS 5....

Conflict updating MYSQL today
Hi, could someone tell me how to get around this mysql51-libs "installing for dependencies" problem? I'm trying to update mysql, but am being told I have a conflict between attempted installs of mysql-libs-5.5.16-2.el5.art.i386 and mysql51-libs-5.1.59-1.ius.el5.i386 (file /usr/share/mysql/...

Thanks
I know eventually I will have some issue, and will come running to the Atomic Rocket Turtle for help... but right now, all is well, no problems for over 6 years... so I thought I would just say thanks to the Atomic Support Staff for the Atomic Repo that has kept my CentOS 5 and Plesk 8.6 box healthy...

mysqlclient16 and mysqlclient15
Scott and everybody, I currently have Plesk 8.6.0, PHP 5.3.6, MySQL 5.1.58, but mysqlclient is: mysql-5.1.58-2.el5.art mysqlclient15-5.0.92-1.ius.el5 mysql-libs-5.1.58-2.el5.art mysql-server-5.1.58-2.el5.art I would like to remove the mysqlclient15 and do an atomic "yum install mysqlclient16&qu...
