Just like to add an upvote to the request of having two instances of PHP running on the machine if it were possible.

We are seeing this problem now too - only seems to be affecting php-zend-guard-loader though as works fine.

Breun's suggestion in the first post sounds like it might save a lot of time and potential problems with each new ASL release for users and for the ASL team, thumbs up from us.
