Hey,
I recently picked up a couple of Ryzen 7 servers but quickly learnt that they were woefully unstable on any kernel under 4.12.
I noticed that the most recent Atomic kernel is based on version 3.x, any plans on upgrading to 4.12+ so I can use the kernel on my ASL installs on Ryzen as well?

GRSEC: Denied Resource Overstep - Varnish
I'm trying to get Varnish 4.1/5.1 to work on a server with the art kernel and ASL installed. As soon as I upgrade and add my config, which works fine on a server without the art kernel, varnish stops working, won't start. I looked into ASL's console and see the following error: (had to upload a img ...

wordpress websites compromised
Hello, Two wordpress properties I host were compromised yesterday and today, the attacker changed the title of the latest post to "hacked.." etc. This is a vague question, but am I missing something from my ASL config that should've stopped them? We are running a slightly older version of ...

save to file?
Hey,
I need to dump a fairly large search set from within ASL and found the save to file option, but where are the saved files stored? It doesn't show a save popup either.

MailScanner broke ClamAV on WHM
I need to setup a decent AV solution for emails on a new WHM server so I installed MailScanner, which turned out to be a mistake. It's broken ClamAV that was installed by ASL, I can no longer conduct scans from inside the ASL CP.
Any ideas how I can get it to work without touching ASL's clamav?

Re: EasyApache 4, CentOS 7 and MariaDB with R1Soft
I talked to support about these installation issues last night and they said that EasyApache 4 isn't currently supported by ASL v4.x, they've recommended to shift to the beta channel. Otherwise, you'll have to wait for v5 to hit mainstream.

Re: EasyApache 4, CentOS 7 and MariaDB with R1Soft
anyone able to resolve this? I'm in a similar predicament Edit: I was able to fix this by navigating to the folder and creating a duplicate file of main.default with the name main.local. But now I get new errors: Errors were encountered: L CODE SOURCE MESSAGE - ---- ----------------------------- ---...

Weird issue, interface not found
Hey, I'm experiencing this weird issue on two new boxes, I add the user newrelic to procread after ASL installs so that newrelic can read the data and reboot the server. The server never comes back online. My DC hooked up a KVM to the server and turns out the server boots up fine but it gives this w...

We run a custom made CMS for newspaper properties and often need to change the ad codes added to the web pages, currently when the dev team tries to add/change the ad code they are greeted by a 403 and the ASL panel shows: 340148 and 340147. Is there any way to allow a certain section of the site to...

CLAMD high CPU consumption when website visited
I'm running a cPanel Centos 6 server with over 200 websites and have recently noticed high cpu load. The server is running normal right now which leads me to suspect no ones visiting the websites on the server. With htop open I just visited a site on the server and I saw 4 threads of clamd open, eac...

I've reworked the my setup to eliminate nginx and work solely with apache. This time I decided to use MariaDB 10.1 (innodb db), boy was this a mistake. need help with a new server
This latest build I'm working on has no control panel, just varnsh, apache, php-fpm and mariadb 10.1. The setup is that Varnish listens on port 80 while apache sits behind on another port. I've got the config setup to pass real ip's back to apache so ASL can do it's thing. The issue I'm facing now i...

Re: ASL Installation did not install kernel
Can you tell me more about the environment? /boot/grub2/grub.cfg not being present would indicate that this isnt a standard redhat-ish type setup. CentOS release 6.7 (Final) It's a dedicated server with a Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-1650 v2. I just checked another server I'm running with ASL and that t...
