Re: aum not working with CentOS 7

Also one other question in addition to above.

Is aum supposed to install some GUI for cPanel?
I have no indication that any rules are being processed, except for Apache error logs.

Re: aum not working with CentOS 7

Thanks Mike.

Perhaps you can tell me this.

If aum has installed mod_security, etc.,
When I build a profile with Easy Apache 4 it has a switch for cPanel's version of mod_security.
Do I need to disable that to not overwrite your version?

Does this same logic apply to any other software?

Re: aum not working with CentOS 7

Can you tell me if I configure aum to install and update rules only, then what configuration steps do I need to take to make sure the rules are being processed in cPanel?

Thanks.

Re: aum not working with CentOS 7

Those lock icons in the wiki are confusing. Made me leave off the end part of the command.

Image

works when you use

Code: Select all

wget -q -O - https://updates.atomicorp.com/installers/aum |bash

now to try to understand the cPanel config instructions

password change to repo

How do I go about changing my password to the repository?

I'm not clear if it's the same as my account login or not?

Thanks,
jim

EasyApache and ASL

Hi, I've installed ASL on a cPanel VPS server running Centos5. A few questions about the relationship between EasyApache and ASL. Can I run easyApache? If so do I have to adjust the options: My current build has Apache 2.4 selected, must I change this to 2.2? My current build has Mod Security select...

Re: Some basic help please...

James, excuse me for butting into your thread. I've been trying to get this shell script working. I can connect and download the file with the raw shell command wget --user="username" --password="xxxxxxx" "http://www.atomicorp.com/channels/rules/subscription/VERSION" Ho...
