bugette in ASL clamd.conf in Centos 7
I think I found a minor bug in the clamav rpm from the ASL repo for Centos 7 Once installed, in /etc/clamd.conf the path to the pid file is wrong (or the install script is missing a line to create the require directory) Original, as installed: # This option allows you to save a process identifier of...

AV/AS solutions for Plesk, Centos 7 and Postfix
I've decided to start a new thread on this one rather than continue with the old one. As far as I can tell, the only real option for anti-spam and anti-virus on Plesk 12.5 and Centos 7 is either to go for Plesk's built-in spamassassin support in conjunction with commercial (and stupidly expensive) a...

Re: Centos 7 and Apache 2.4 -- is it time?
I've been doing some testing and so far so good. Plesk 12.5 is wonderful, and so is Centos 7. I've not had any problems with ASL with any of this either, other than mod_evasive triggering like mad on one particular test site. One related "bug" I've found is that Plesk doesn't think mod_eva...

Re: php uploads not working at all
Yes, -35 resolved it. THANK YOU.
I'd be very curious to know the cause - at least if it is explainable to an amateur coder

Re: php uploads not working at all
We're currently thinking it may be an issue in the latest php 5.3 itself :-( I'm rather hoping it is, because otherwise I have no idea. I will check the timeouts/memory limits etc too of course, but they really haven't changed and still no errors in any logs. I've also tested on tiny files and they ...

php uploads not working at all
Further to https://www.atomicorp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=8270 It looks as though uploads of any sort via php are not working. I just tried uploading a file via wordpress and that ended up 0 bytes too. There is plenty of space.... Still no errors in any log that I can find. I'm out of ideas...

Plesk Horde attachment problem
I'm having the strangest problem with webmail attachments all of a sudden. Attachments added to a message composed in Horde/IMP webmail on one particular server don't get uploaded properly, and end up as 0 byte (or very few bytes) attachments once the message arrives at its destination. The problem ...

Re: clamd/qmail-scanner not scanning tiny text messages?
Aha! I think I've found it: in /usr/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl change: my $skip_text_msgs=1; to my $skip_text_msgs=0; I missed this previously because I was looking for a size, not for a skip text flag. Obviously this will need to be re-edited after each reconfigure (or just edit the reconfigure scr...

clamd/qmail-scanner not scanning tiny text messages?
I've just come across a really weird clamd problem on my PG mailscanners and could do with some suggestions as to how to resolve it. If anybody has any ideas, no matter how off the wall, please post! Essentially clamd does not seem to scan (or be called by qmail-scanner) when the incoming message is...

I'm actually failing to get spamdyke's native TLS to work. I think it is something to do with cyphers. I'm continuing to investigate

Re: PG - how to limit connections/per IP?
Thanks Scott. So we're talking about editing smtp.rules to (for example) look something like this? : :allow,MAXCONNIP="5",QMAILQUEUE="/var/qmail/bin/qmail-scanner-queue.pl" Then run: tcprules smtp.cdb smtp.tmp <smtp.rules Which would limit the number of connections per IP to 5. W...

PG qmail - no tls?
On doing some tests, it appears that the version of qmail in PG doesn't support TLS This is a result of trying to enable it and failing, then using spamdyke's config test which says: "WARNING: /var/qmail/bin/qmail-smtpd does not appear to offer TLS support." Is this really the case, and if...

PG - how to limit connections/per IP?
With qmail on a Plesk box, you can edit /etc/xinetd.d/smtp_psa to add instances= and per_ip= to limit the number of concurrent connections and connections per IP. I can't figure out how to do this with PG as there's no equivalent file. I seem to recall something about tcpserver but I don't remember ...

Centos 7 and Apache 2.4 -- is it time?
I'm thinking of doing a Migration rather than an in-place upgrade for a particular system (Plesk 10.4.4 on Centos 6 to Plesk 12.5). If I do a Migration, I figure I should use Centos 7 on the target, along with Apache 2.4 to allow native php-fpm. Am I jumping the gun, or is the Centos 7 and Apache 2....
