Re: PHP 5.4 and suhosin

Ok.
Btw....this brings me to a question I have not thought about before.
Are suhosin features somehow used/set "automically" by ASL?
I must confess that I use suhosin in a "set and forget" way.

Thanks

Re: PHP 5.4 and suhosin

my approach here would be to use fcgi implementation of latest Plesk 11.5 and set individual php settings for each vhost via Plesk interface. currently I use a custom fcgi wrapper that points to individual php.ini's in Plesk 9.5. in those I set everything the way I need to for each vhost like disabl...

Re: PHP 5.4 and suhosin

of course I did notice it :D I just wondered how the actual state is and what do you think about it. especially from security point of view. it is one github project moving on but also that one is old. former development is "dead". it is stated as dev version as well in your repo. so nothi...

PHP 5.4 and suhosin

Hi Scott, since suhosin project seems to be sort of dead....what are your thoughts living without it from security point of view? rouncube and other stuff are not working correctly like the main developer allready stated. stefanesser commented a year ago "Inital support" means that it now ...

Re: php-snmp

for php5.3 you will have to use nuceleus repo since atomic repo updated to 5.4 recently.
nucelus repo now contains 5.3 packages.
in atomic php-snmp 5.4 is available. so you could also upgrade to 5.4 entirely from atomic repo and have than php-snmp.

Re: Extreme incoming Email killing CPu

I know thats not the solution and totally not good but it is a strange behaviour. What happens if you disable TLS for a moment by setting this in spamdyke conf: tls-level:none none: Do not provide or allow TLS, even if qmail supports it. qmail's attempt to advertise its TLS support will be hidden an...

Re: PHP 5.4 Released

thanks a lot. looking forward to it. stupid question/"idea"...can't you just take the existing atomic package and tweak the final directories/necessary filenames a little bit (e.g by adding php-5.3-xxxxx) and rebuild it?

Re: PHP 5.4 Released

yes, thanks. The new feature works with the FastCGI or CGI handlers.
Thought it would be nice being able to cover this package based via a repo.

Re: PHP 5.4 Released

wonderful. thanks a lot.
One question: how to install both Atomic PHP 5.3 and Atomic PHP 5.4 side by side to benefit from the new Plesk11.5 feature of multiple PHP versions?

Re: Mysql out of memory attacks

examine your iptables rules. Maybe you can pinpoint it down to something. manpage is here: http://ipset.netfilter.org/iptables.man.html Also there is a chance that you server is being synflooded. Hard to say. I would definitely try to go step by step. Since you have a clean install check under which...

Re: Mysql out of memory attacks

I don't think that I can help you a lot but I do my best and have some questions, comments and info from my side. 1. If you urgently need help use the support portal not the forum 2. If you need to get it running asap disable ASL and reboot to non ALS kernel 3. iptables is now consuming most memory....

Nucleus repository

Hi, stumbled across a post and the Nucelus repo and have a few questions regarding this repo: -as an ASL customer do I have access to this repo or I is it separated? -if not is there maybe a discount for ASL customers? -what is the difference between the packages compared to Atomic repo? -will Atomi...
