Re: SSH Loopback??
When trying to connect to a completely different host (not ours) ... then something similar to your output shows. But it's just to one of our hosts. Works absolutely fine. It's just our two servers can't ssh into each other. Our server seems to think that it is ssh'ing into itself rather than the re...

SSH Loopback??
Having a really weird issue... trying to ssh from server a to server b as the root user, however server b responds with "permission denied, please try again". It's been working before.... ... the really strange thing is, if I type in the password for server (when ssh'ing to server b) ... i...

Re: Server Backups rsync vs plesk
Thanks Faris, a great help! So I would take it that both of the plesk panels need to be the same version for this to happen? I think I might stick with the rsync option if it's quicker and uses less bandwidth. At the moment, we are rsyncing the following: Vhosts – everything in /var/www/vhosts/ vhos...

Re: Server Backups rsync vs plesk
Ok new idea... We have a mucked up backup plesk, however we are still determined to do something useful with it. We have been backing up with rsync - however, we would like to use the plesk backup system. So here's the idea - we make the backup's on plesk A using the control panel and FTP these to o...

Re: Plesk 10.3.1 Broken after Update
Thanks Pauli! Config files were fine, I've contact parallels to see if they can shine any light on the problem. I didn't know that about plesk backups -thanks!

Plesk 10.3.1 Broken after Update
We have a second server for experimenting on more than anything - Just upgraded the plesk panel to 10.3.1, however I now have limited access in the control panel. Here is the error message: New files of configuration for Apache web server were not built due to errors in configuration templates. The ...

Re: Configuring Spamdyke
I've just checked our settings in plesk... am I right in thinking: Relay options ------------ Relaying authorization is required: POP3 before SMTP lock time Min (UNCHECKED) SMTP (CHECKED) .... Means we don't allow pop before relay. In which case, that's probably not the cause of our problem with spa...

Re: Server Backups rsync vs plesk
Ok not a problem :) Thanks for your help! We've just acquired another license to give a backup a go... basically we want to mirror server a to server b. We currently have r sync dumping everything to server b - which is breaking that plesk panel and showing up with the wrong server names... we reali...

Re: Configuring Spamdyke
Ok thanks for your help! I think I've got to the same point as the person looking after the server before me. Is there any way of getting it to work on port 25?

Re: Configuring Spamdyke
Thanks biggles, gave it a try - getting some messages in the mail logs this time, but still not sending emails. This appears in the mail log now:
plesk /var/qmail/bin/relaylock[27182]: /var/qmail/bin/relaylock mail from ... (not defined)
Still the same message from outlook though.
