Have had no issues with amavisd-new (from EPEL) on EL 7 with and without Plesk. I do recommend not to use the Atomic repo, and stick with EPEL, also for ClamAV.

No, don't do that. That is an EL 6 package, not EL7. Also, the package is out-dated and from an unofficial repo that doesn't exist anymore.
