Re: centos suexec breaks scripts from running bad! Any help?
But that will break plesk, as these scripts are in the domains /cgi-bin and uploaded with the domain user, the directory on cgi-bin is not the same group as the domain, its defaulted that way by plesk.

Re: Centos detects drives wrong deadly slow
Your drives are detected and mounted as SATA.
What's up with your software raid?
Run
cat /proc/mdstat
Post the result please, that will tell what's happening with your raid.

Re: Centos detects drives wrong deadly slow
Ah same as me :) Okay I assume your running a pair of SATA drives? My issue is centos said they were PATA and their performance was shocking, take a week to sync! What's the output of fdisk -l If you see /dev/sda Your sweet If you see /dev/hda You got bios issues. I can help you when I am home you c...

Re: httpd 2.2.17 and php in cgi mode
Mike, One little quirk I found with 2.2.17 Its very minor and does not require an update. Can it be kept in mind for 2.2.18. The default httpd page you get (the apache one), is a fedora one (obviously using graphics from the srpm), when you don't have an index.xxx file. Would be nice to replace the ...

Re: centos help! Its frustrating me where Fedora works!
was stupid kerberos! damn this day and age no ipv6 support - sheesh. Guess they are going to get kicked hard in about 12 months or so at the rate the pool of ipv4 diminishes, there are none left in the internic pool all gone! Just the pools left in the various regions, a /8 in each, tick tock. okay ...

Re: MySQL 5.5
Scott, yes if its not plesk compatible then bleeding. I think php-5.3x and httpd-2.2.17 stay in testing they are compatible and I have them running on a production server. Bleeding needs to be for non compatible rpms, else what is the point of testing, may as well push to stable and users can always...

centos help! Its frustrating me where Fedora works!
Need a little help with some ipv6 hassles - just FTP Firstly the /usr/bin/ftp does not work ipv6. I get host name not found, even using the ipv6 address! Seems it's kerbos related? How can I either fix it so it's ipv6 working or disable it. Last, psa-proftpd does not work ipv6. Now according to Scot...

Quota not working centos 5
New install, centos 5 plesk 10.1
It's got usrquota set on VolGroup00 in fstab.
You can run check quota and quota off and on, all works.
Plesk says its not supported by OS.
How can I fix it?
I did a quota dump and it shows all the users and usage it's nuts!

Re: Centos detects drives wrong deadly slow
Hi Mike, No that was why it took me a while to track down. Fedora mounted all 3 drives as sda to sdc It's something to do with centos kernel and it miss detecting sata drives as pata. Sometimes you have to resort to loading kernel specifying no IDE. Luckily my bios had the advanced settings. What wa...
