Hi
I need to stay on MySQL 5.1 for a while.
Is it still possible to install 5.1 or is this version removed from the atomic repository?
Thanks.

Re: How to keep MySQL 5.1
Its removed temporarily. It might return as soon as next week.
Re: How to keep MySQL 5.1
Is there any particular reason for this?
And does "might" mean that there is a possibility for it not to return to the repository? (or I need to look for an alternative repository)
Thanks (and sorry for posting duplicates earlier but thought there was something wrong)

Re: How to keep MySQL 5.1
It was causing a conflict with mysql 5.5. Might meaning I might have the time to work on it this week, otherwise I wont be able to work on it until next week. Hence the "as soon as"
Re: How to keep MySQL 5.1
Have to make copy of a mysql server using percona xtrabackup and would like to have the same binaries on the new server (instead off some other rep packages)
Any chance you could make the 5.1 packages available for download, outside the repository?

Re: How to keep MySQL 5.1
I'm finding myself stuck too due to this, mysql-devel wasn't installed when the server was setup and now needed for compilation of UDFs.. is there any chance it could be put up on the testing repository or an unstable one? It's somewhat leaving me stuck between a rock and a hard place, the only other option currently available to me is to remove the art version entirely and install direct from the MySQL instead (no other version will work with the art because each compiler has set a dependency based on their own package names, and the Oracle packages conflict over files)

Sure the src.rpms are available in the source/ directory on all the mirrors. Example:

Follow up on this, the mysql 5.1 packages should be re-imported shortly.
