Missing GPG signature

Unread post by mfichtner »

I've added the art GPG key to my system using "rpm --import http://3es.atomicrocketturtle.com/atomi ... EY.art.txt". Still up2date (on a 3ES box) complains that "Package mysql-4.0.22-2.rhel3.art does not have a GPG signature".

Do I need to also add "RPM-GPG-KEY.art.txt" to up2date's keyring at "/etc/sysconfig/rhn/up2date-keyring.gpg" in order to make up2date recognize it and install packages from atomicrocketturtle.com without requiring the "--nosig" option?

Thanks in advance!

Hmm, I dont get that on my 3es test box. You sure it added the key successfully?

I'm pretty sure. "rpm -qi gpg-pubkey" lists both the Red Hat key as well as your ART key.

Okay, I now added the ART key to up2date's keyring. But that doesn't make a difference: up2date still aborts the installation of "mysql-4.0.22-2.rhel3.art" stating that the package does not have a GPG signature. :(
