Howdy, folks.
The Redis package supplied by the Atomic Repo has a dangerous config option set:
"daemonize no"
This should default to yes. If a server boots with "daemonize no" set, it'll be stuck in said booting state forever. The only fix is to drop to single user mode, modify the config and reboot again.
Please, fix this or add a prominent notice to the installation post-script letting people know to change that value before rebooting.

Re: Redis package from ART has dangerous default config opti
Why wouldnt you check the settings on any piece of software before you use it? If you just install something and reboot, then you deserve whatever happens to your system. You always check the settings of anything you install before you use it.
If everything was easy, then the world wouldn't need engineers.

Who says he didn't, hostingg?
I think this is an excellent suggestion from the topic starter.
