eAccelerator zend errors

hi,
I am having these errors...

PHP Warning: [eAccelerator] Can not create shared memory area in Unknown on line 0
PHP Fatal error: Unable to start eAccelerator module in Unknown on line 0

Most of the google stuff on this says it's because the eAccelerator is not compatible with the php 5.2.9, or whatever php is there...

Any advice...are the zend packages from Atomic? Or should I upgrade?

we use eaccelerator on this server with PHP 5.2.9 right now. There are packages for that (php-eaccelerator), ioncube (php-ioncube-loader) and zend (php-zend-optimizer) available in [atomic]
